Romantic Feel

After several months of paper crafting hiatus, I decided to come back with a card that I made for the 22nd Prakarya Kertas, Indonesian monthly paper craft challenge held by Dian Yustisia. This month’s challenge is “Romantic” it could be something related to romanticism and arts from that era, or could be any interpretation of romance.

Before my hiatus, I bought this very pretty colorful gingham patterned ribbon. I really want to incorporate this into the project, so I make a round shaped card with doily paper, put some buttons on it and make a bow with the ribbon as the center piece. I sand the sides of the card to add a vintage feeling to it. I like the result.

Sadly I can’t list the supplies because I don’t know the brand of these.

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #19

I made a very simple quick card for this challenge :

Even though honestly, it’s not quick at all figuring out what I wanted to do with these colors. It’s definitely not my comfort zone, and it’s a tough challenge! Personally, I love the heart button the most, it just matches the sentiment 🙂

When I used the distressed polkadot stamps from Prima, it just remind me how much I wanted the papertreyink’s polkadot basics stamps. Sadly since I live faraway from the US, if I order from the papertreyink’s website, the shipping cost even more than the stamp itself 😦

Supplies :
Punches : Fiskars Edge Punch, Carla Craft 6 Petal Flower, EK Success Corner Rounder, McGill Fancy Square Small
Stamps : Mellisa Frances Crystal Clear Stamps, Hero Arts Wood Grain Design Block, Prima polka dot collage
Inks : Tsukineko Embossing Ink + powder, Colorbox Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink
Papers : Random 100 yen paper, Kuretake Kolourboration (color: Koubai), Basic Grey Sultry 6×6 paper pad
Others : Signo White Gel Pen, Ranger Perfect Pearls in Turquoise, random button from my button collection

Green Wedding Card

My best friend was married last week on November 15. One of the disadvantage of being far from hometown is to miss a lot of weddings. And it made me sad. I made her a card, which I think is the least I can do for her. She loves anything green, even her wedding invitation was also green. So, inspired by her love of this color, I made her a super green wedding card. I know there are too many things going on on this card, but I quite like it. And finally I got to use my metal frame embellishment! It just finished up the card perfectly.

It’s the time again! Dawn’s Raspberry Suite Color Challenge. Sadly I’m mistaken the challenge’s closing date *sigh*, so this doesn’t count as an entry, but it’s fun and the colors are beautiful so I did it anyway! For this challenge, again I’m using Hero Art’s Kraft Notecard (I think I need more of these!). And also still in my button craze moment, I decided to use *more* buttons for this project, and voilà! Here’s the card!

Supplies : Hero Arts Kraft Notecard, Hero Arts Clear Design Mix & Match Elements, Colorbox Chalk Chestnut Roan Inkpad, Basic Grey Sultry 6×6 paper pad, Basic Grey Bug Bitsy Stamps, Basic Grey Wild Flowers Stamps, McGill Fancy Square Paper Punch, Fiskars Upper Crest Edge Punch

It’s time for the 19th Prakarya Kertas papercraft challenge! It’s a monthly online challenge for Indonesian paper crafters in multiply held by Dian Yustisia. This time the challenge is tough. Using these colors; orange, black, dark green, purple, which are basically halloween colors for a wedding themed papercraft! I was thinking to incorporate the corpse bride or something Halloween-y so that I have the legitimate reason to use these colors.

Then, I incorporate just the purple and the orange (and a little bit of black) to make a non-traditional wedding card and gift tags! And wow that was fun. My experiment proves that these colors doesn’t always have to be about Halloween.

Supplies : 12×12 Go For Baroque (imaginisce), 6×6 Wisteria (Basic Grey), 6×6 Ambrosia (Basic Grey), Kodomo no Kao Rakuraku Koubou Flower Punch (in 4L and 3L), Carla Craft paper punch, Distress Inks (Spiced Marmalade & Dusty Concord), Haunted Ribbon from Cosmo Cricket.
