It’s the time again! Dawn’s Raspberry Suite Color Challenge. Sadly I’m mistaken the challenge’s closing date *sigh*, so this doesn’t count as an entry, but it’s fun and the colors are beautiful so I did it anyway! For this challenge, again I’m using Hero Art’s Kraft Notecard (I think I need more of these!). And also still in my button craze moment, I decided to use *more* buttons for this project, and voilĂ ! Here’s the card!

Cream, cream

Opposite to my sister, I happen to be a person who love colors so much. Too much maybe. I love everything around me to be as colorful as possible (it changed as I grow older, but I still love colors!). As in crafting, I often overdo things here and there. And I love to see many of scrapbook pages and cards which has anything possible in it, you know, scrapbook page circus with all the ribbons, gems, laces, chipboards, buttons, stamps, and anything else possible. I love them, I love embellishments, I love glitters and shimmers, and in the contrary, I found it hard to tone down and make something so simple and subtle without all that.

Yesterday when I open my old knitting box, I found some beautiful yarns and I tried to use them in my card. This is what I came up with :

Ever since I saw Jennifer McGuire’s video on youtube, I fell in love with this Bold Flourish and Heart Winged Butterfly stamp from Hero Arts. But because I live in Japan, it was not easy to get these. Finally when I had these stamps and distress inks in my hand, I just can’t stop stamping! This is my entry for the Hero Arts online challenge, the fall colors.
