It’s the time again! Dawn’s Raspberry Suite Color Challenge. Sadly I’m mistaken the challenge’s closing date *sigh*, so this doesn’t count as an entry, but it’s fun and the colors are beautiful so I did it anyway! For this challenge, again I’m using Hero Art’s Kraft Notecard (I think I need more of these!). And also still in my button craze moment, I decided to use *more* buttons for this project, and voilĂ ! Here’s the card!

Row Your Boat

I’ve been wanting to make a scrapbook page with brown and green as the theme. And in my days working to tidy up the other room to welcome my new roommate, I found this Zara brochure which has this beautiful green brown stripes on it. I immediately think of incorporating it in my page.

And it fits just perfect. I really work on this page spontaneously, and I’m enjoying every idea that pops up in my mind. I used a quite old photo that my friend took in 2005. Yeah, ancient, but I love it and I don’t have any printed pictures for now, so why not? This is the result. My friend here is Zulka, my friend from college whom I missed so much.
Supplies : Hero Arts Stamp : Bold Flourish & Raindrop Background, Distress Ink : Vintage Photo & Shabby Shutter, japanese masking tapes, Fiskars Upper Crest Edge Punch, Prima Bitty Bag flowers, Basic Grey brads, Holly Doodle Green Lace Alphabet Stickers from Pink Paislee.

Ever since I saw Jennifer McGuire’s video on youtube, I fell in love with this Bold Flourish and Heart Winged Butterfly stamp from Hero Arts. But because I live in Japan, it was not easy to get these. Finally when I had these stamps and distress inks in my hand, I just can’t stop stamping! This is my entry for the Hero Arts online challenge, the fall colors.

Supplies : Hero Arts Kraft Notecard, Hero Arts stamps (Bold Flourish & Heart Winged Butterfly), Distress Inks (Vintage Photo, Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw), Kiwi Perfect Pearls, clear embossing powder, white gel pen

Hi! This is my first post here, as I decided to make a blog that will fully focus on my craft works.

I finished this butterfly stamp on the day my first ever embossing tools came in the mail. I used white embossing powder from Kuretake, and I don’t think it’s good. It’s cracking everywhere it shouldn’t has to. I guess price does shows quality (I picked up the cheapest one I could find online). Anyways, I made a green – brown one and I made a video showing me making another one in different color (excuse my English in the video).

Supplies : Hero Arts Kraft Notecards, Hero Arts Heart Winged Butterfly, EK Success Corner Rounder, Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie Ribbon Set (scallop one), 100 yen shop ribbons, Signo white gel pen, Kuretake embossing powder + pad, Ranger Vintage Photo Distress Inks, Ranger Kiwi Perfect Pearl
