I did some craft goodies shopping the other night, and I couldn’t help but experiment (read: play with these things all night long) on using and mixing them. Pentel Color Brush in purple (#150), Artnic pigment stamp pad in Peony (16), Carla Craft small circle punch, purple glitter, perfect pearls (Berry Twist and Forever Violet) and some butterfly stamps.

I fell in love with butterfly stamps since I saw how beautiful they are in Rachel Jackson’s blog. And I remember that she made a cute sketch on August, and even though it’s almost October now, I decided to make something using the sketch. And here it is :

I also copied her style in making those little dots with a white gel pen.

I just can not let my perfect pearls alone that I had to apply them somewhere in my craft. Here’s some shiny details :

Ever since I saw Jennifer McGuire’s video on youtube, I fell in love with this Bold Flourish and Heart Winged Butterfly stamp from Hero Arts. But because I live in Japan, it was not easy to get these. Finally when I had these stamps and distress inks in my hand, I just can’t stop stamping! This is my entry for the Hero Arts online challenge, the fall colors.

Supplies : Hero Arts Kraft Notecard, Hero Arts stamps (Bold Flourish & Heart Winged Butterfly), Distress Inks (Vintage Photo, Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw), Kiwi Perfect Pearls, clear embossing powder, white gel pen

Hi! This is my first post here, as I decided to make a blog that will fully focus on my craft works.

I finished this butterfly stamp on the day my first ever embossing tools came in the mail. I used white embossing powder from Kuretake, and I don’t think it’s good. It’s cracking everywhere it shouldn’t has to. I guess price does shows quality (I picked up the cheapest one I could find online). Anyways, I made a green – brown one and I made a video showing me making another one in different color (excuse my English in the video).

Supplies : Hero Arts Kraft Notecards, Hero Arts Heart Winged Butterfly, EK Success Corner Rounder, Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie Ribbon Set (scallop one), 100 yen shop ribbons, Signo white gel pen, Kuretake embossing powder + pad, Ranger Vintage Photo Distress Inks, Ranger Kiwi Perfect Pearl
